About Daikin Park
Daikin Park opened for the Astros in 2000 with a retractable roof, downtown Houston's answer to the region's unpredictable weather. A replica 19th-century train runs along the left-field wall after every Astros home run, a tradition that has carried through the ballpark's several name changes.
