Field of Dreams

The Field of Dreams site in Dyersville was built for the 1989 film starring Kevin Costner and has since hosted Major League Baseball regular season games, beginning with the White Sox and Yankees in 2021, followed by the Reds and Cubs in 2022 and the Twins and Phillies in 2026. The 2026 game was played in a newly constructed permanent stadium next to the movie's original field and farmhouse. A fourth game between the Royals and Red Sox is scheduled there for August 2027.
