About Qualcomm Stadium
Qualcomm Stadium, known by several names over the years, was the Padres' home from the franchise's debut in 1969 until Petco Park opened in 2004. Shared with the NFL's Chargers, it hosted the Padres' only other World Series appearance, in 1998, before the team moved downtown.
