About Stade Olympique
Olympic Stadium was built for the 1976 Summer Olympics and became the Expos' home the following year, with its leaning tower looming over the outfield. Its retractable roof was famously unreliable, and the stadium's cavernous size made it a difficult place to draw fans in the franchise's later years before the team relocated to Washington.
