About T-Mobile Park
T-Mobile Park opened for the Mariners in 1999 as one of the first ballparks with a retractable roof, built to shield fans from Seattle's rain without fully enclosing the field. Even with the roof closed, the sides of the ballpark remain open to the outside air.
