78’ Cards beat the 78’ Expos on a pinch hit single in the bottom of the 9th from Jerry Mumphrey to win 2-1. First time playing. Game is excellent and will only get better I’m sure. Great job!

Game #2 of the three game series sees the Cards rally for 3 in the bottom of the 8th enroute to a 6-4 win over Montreal. Lou Brock's two out single plates the winning run, and Mark Littell closes the door in the 9th.
