Monetize?

In the future, I would expect ActionSims Baseball to charge between $19.95 per month (Strat-O-Matic Baseball MAX) and $34.99 per year (Digital Diamond Baseball).

Monetization is definitely something we're considering down the road. For now, though, we'd rather focus on improving the game, working out any remaining issues and making sure everything is stable and reliable before asking anyone to pay for it.
We've added quite a bit of functionality in a relatively short period and there are still things that need attention. I want to make sure we're delivering a quality product before introducing a subscription.
The longer-term vision for ActionSims also goes beyond baseball. We eventually plan to introduce other sports, including football, basketball, and potentially more. However, those plans are on hold for now while we concentrate on getting baseball where we want it.
As far as pricing goes, we're currently thinking somewhere around $40 per year for a premium subscription with the core historical baseball experience remaining free. That's certainly not set in stone, though. Depending on when we introduce subscriptions, inflation, operating expenses and other unforeseen costs could influence the final price.
For now, there's no rush to monetize. we'd much rather build something people genuinely enjoy playing and want to keep coming back to. If we get that part right, I think the rest will take care of itself.
