It looks like you're doing a lot of things to improve the game which is a very good sign. Since I prefer to play season replays and NEVER use computer managers, I would really like the ability to play every game in a season with me as the manager for both teams.

Hi Nate. Good news. You can already do this.
When playing a season replay, go to Advance Day and select Play for whichever game you want to play. There should be a dropdown on the play button when clicked. You can choose either team to manage.
Once you get to the pregame lineup screen, you'll see a Manage Both Teams button next to Play Ball. Click that, and you'll have full control of both teams throughout the game, including batting, pitching, baserunning, defensive strategies and substitutions.
You can do this for every game on the schedule incluuding games involving teams other than your own. So you can replay an entire season without using the computer managers.
