Player moves on the team I manage

Is there anyway to stop the game from making moves on the team I manage. Example 1962 Mets Gil Hodges was optioned to the farm a week into the season, but I didn’t do this and based on game logs he would be with the team the entire year and I have him DL/farm 20 September since he doesn’t play after that. Does that make sense. I option players if they don’t appear for 10 or more days, figure DL and bring players up when they actually first appear. If the game could do these types of moves in a season would be awesome but probably a bridge to far.

As always thanks for a continuing awesome product and look forward to more and football

I'll look into it this morning and see what happened. Thanks for letting me know!

For a game of this magnitude, any new feature always brings new bugs lol. They'll never go away but we'll always keep working on them.

Thanks again for letting me know about this. The game was sending down players on your team when it shouldn't have, and Hodges hitting .400 got optioned anyway. Definitely a derp there.

Hopefully this is fixed now ...

There's a new Automatic roster moves checkbox at the top of your team's Active Roster screen. Uncheck it and every roster move on your team is yours to make. The computer teams still handle their own. When it's on, a player only gets sent down for truly poor play over a real stretch, and the season log shows his numbers.

Sending down a player who starts in one of your lineups now puts the best player left on the roster in his spot. A few of your Mets lineups still list players who are gone, so re-save those once after the update.

Making the real-life moves on the real dates is still a bridge too far for now (that may never happen lol), but your approach of optioning, DLing and recalling players by hand will work nicely with the setting off.

Here's a doc link for this (for anyone else reading this too): https://actionsims.com/baseball/documentation/#manage-your-active-roster
