I am in two Strat-O-Matic Baseball (SOMB) leagues that play head-to-head (human versus human). SOMB lets you connect two computers using the SOMB NetPlay feature. The computers give the defense computer access to set the defense, that is, make any changes, and then give control to the offense to make any changes. The offense then requests the at-bat result. This mode requires the Windows app to be installed on both computers and the software to be at the same level.

You can use the current version of ActionSims Baseball to play head-to-head (human versus human). We have used this method with SOMB when only one league member had the Windows app installed. The computer without access to the game uses remote desktop software, such as AnyViewer, TeamViewer, or Google Remote Desktop. I have used AnyViewer on one computer to access ActionSims Baseball on another computer and play a game.

Hmm... since human vs. human is already possible with the current version, I’m leaning toward implementing the draft feature next.
My thought for draft mode is to let the player choose the year range they want to draft from. As BeatlesEternally suggested, that could be a single season, a specific range of seasons, or potentially all available seasons.

Does "draft mode" mean the computer selects players (roster members), or do humans pick them?

It would be both. A human player/user would make his choice when his turn came around.
