"1. I am noticing that the game is not using Deadball era tactics IN Deadball but it will utilize them more post 1920. I have seen multi-error games, suicide squeezes, double steals, and steals of home post 1920 but never in Deadball in the game. As Deadball baseball is really my wheelhouse, I wanted the ability to sim out a season to check if the numbers are consistent with what one would see from Deadball."
If you have a few Deadball Era seasons in mind, I'd be happy to simulate them for you. I can run a full season pretty quickly in my local development environment, usually in about 25 minutes or so.
I'd need to figure out a convenient way to share the results so you could easily look through the statistics and see how everything compares to actual historical performance.
I know the results won't be perfect, but I'd really welcome your input, especially since this is an era you know so well. Having you review the numbers and point out where things seem off would be extremely helpful in getting the simulation better tuned to Deadball Era baseball.
