Bug fix
The Game of the Day page now has one set of team buttons. The play-a-friend box is optional: leave it blank to play the computer or type a friend's name to play them.

New feature
You can now play a friend head-to-head, each managing your own team from your own screen, in a single game, an exhibition, the Game of the Day, a World Series, an All-Star Game or any season. Each of you sets your own lineup and makes your own team's moves on your turn, with a decision timer that lets the CPU manager step in for a player who's away. Commissioners can now put friends on teams in every season, draft or standard. Friends play their own team's games from Advance Day.
-
Improvement
The ball flight on the field now varies from play to play. Fly balls can tower or come in flat, some home runs drop into the seats inside the ballpark picture and ground balls show up as hard grounders, high choppers, slow rollers, seeing-eye singles and bloopers, matching what the play-by-play calls them. Double plays always start on a ball hit hard enough to turn two.
-
New feature
The season Schedule is now a monthly calendar for the team you pick, with month buttons, home games on the team's color and results like W 5-4 (11) on each day. Postseason days follow the regular season and fill in with the team's games once its series is set. A Next Game panel beside it shows both teams' records and their probable starters' W-L and ERA.
-
New feature
Season box scores now show each pitcher's record next to his decision, like W, 10-2 or S, 35, as it stood after that game. Postseason games show postseason records. Games played before this change keep the plain W, L or SV.
-
New feature
Draft league teams can have their own uploaded logos, and everyone in the league sees them. Each friend sets their own team's logo from Change logo on the Active Roster page, and the commissioner can set any team's logo from the League Members page.
-
New feature
Game of the Day standings now have a Box Score link for every finished game, yours and everyone else's. It shows the line score, batting and pitching lines, play-by-play and who managed each team. Games finished before this change don't have one.
-
Improvement
With Animations off, nothing on the gameboard flashes, blinks or pulses: no fireworks, no glowing ring around the field after a walk-off and a steady glow where a home run left the park. The play result banners, Now Batting and the half-inning change fade in and out gently again instead of popping on and off.
-
Bug fix
In draft seasons, a drafted team's bullpen now works like a real team's, both for ManagerAI and in the Change Pitcher list. Position players no longer pitch in close games, rotation starters stay out of the bullpen between starts and the team's real relievers get the work.
-
New feature
A new Umpire Calls button next to the sound volume slider turns the umpire's voice off while the bat and crowd keep playing. The ball flight button is now an Animations button that turns off all motion on the gameboard, and it's off automatically when your device's reduce motion setting is on.
-
New feature
Sim to End is now Sim Ahead, and it can stop at the start of any inning still ahead as well as at the end of the game. The computer manages both teams until then and hands the game back to you with every simmed play in the game log and box score.
-
New feature
New Attendance page in every season shows each team's home games, total and average crowd, home park and capacity, how full the park was on average and its sellouts, with a league total. The season almanac now lists the league's attendance leaders and each team's attendance, including its biggest crowd of the year.

New feature
New season option for AL and NL seasons, Real lineups and starting pitchers. Each game starts the lineup and pitcher each team really used that day, while the results are still simulated. When a real starter is hurt, needs rest or isn't on the active roster, ManagerAI fills in and the game log says who and why.
-
New feature
When a season ends, you can now download a season almanac as a PDF from the season dashboard. It covers final standings, a chapter on every team, the postseason and full stat registers. Almanacs are available on the demo seasons too, where anyone can generate one and it stays ready for everyone who visits.
-
New feature
New setup option for single games, custom World Series and custom or draft seasons, Neutralize home parks. Each player's own home park comes out of his stats so a hitter helped or hurt by his home field plays on even footing, while the park the game is played in still counts as usual.
-
New feature
In a draft season with friends, each friend now gets an email with the final score and a box score link after their team's games are played or simmed. A sim of several games sends one email with all of them, and anyone can turn these emails off from their profile or from the link in the email.
-
New feature
In a draft season with friends, a friend the commissioner puts on a team now gets an email with the league name, their team and a link to the league. This includes a friend swapped onto a team after the draft.
-
Bug fix
The All-Star Game's home team is now the league of the club that plays in the host ballpark, so the National League bats last at National League parks. Finished games keep their recorded scores.
-
New feature
In a draft season with friends, the commissioner can now add a friend to a computer team, swap one friend for another or hand a team back to the computer at any time, during the draft or the season. Open League Members from the Commissioner box in the draft room or from the season dashboard.
-
New feature
With the ball flight on, an OUT now flashes on the field for every out but a strikeout, which keeps its K. It shows over the fielder who catches a ball in the air, or over the base where a runner or the batter is put out.
-
New feature
Box score notes for season and postseason games now follow each name with the player's total through that game, newspaper style, like 2B: Brett (6) or HR: Brett 2 (5). Games played before this change keep their old notes.
-
New feature
After winning the Game of the Day you can add a short comment to your win. It shows under your name in that day's standings, where an Edit link lets you change or remove it.
-
New feature
The umpire now calls strike three on every strikeout, and now and then adds "You're outta there!" to it. Each game gets one of three umpires, who makes every ball four, strike three and out call in his own voice.
-
New feature
A row of Ks under the gameboard scoreboard now counts the strikeouts by the pitcher on the mound, with a backward K for a called third strike. It starts fresh for each new pitcher and can be moved with the drag tool like the scoreboard.
-
New feature
The matchup at the top of the gameboard now shows each team's won-lost record after its name. Season games show the record going into the game, postseason games show the regular-season record and other games show the club's real record for that year when there is one.
